In August 1967, the school was established under the name Thach Loi Level 2 School. Currently, Thach Loi Junior High School is built on an area of 7,560 m² in Thach Loi village, Cam Giang commune, Hai Phong City.
Despite numerous changes aligned with the general development of the Education sector across different periods, Thach Loi Junior High School continuously strives to rise and develop.
Under this roof, generations of teachers and students have successively enhanced the local tradition of studiousness. Today, Thach Loi is home to many generations of educators who have matured to hold excellent educational management positions, as well as lecturers and PhDs teaching at domestic and international universities. Along with them, many generations of students have achieved great success in their careers across all regions of the country, contributing to the honor of their homeland.
Continuing that tradition, in recent years, Thach Loi Junior High School has consistently strived to effectively implement the lively "Good Teaching – Good Learning" emulation movement, with the heart and responsibility of "All for our beloved students – For our beloved school." This is affirmed through the school's annual comprehensive educational quality, with results generally higher than the previous year. The school has many students winning high prizes in provincial and district-level excellent student competitions, while achieving numerous accomplishments in the sector's emulation movements. The quality of entrance examinations to public high schools has achieved relatively high and stable results for many years. The school's infrastructure is increasingly invested in, becoming spacious, meeting the "Green – Clean – Beautiful" criteria, and satisfying the benchmarks for "Building friendly schools, active students" and "Happy schools." The team of officials and teachers possesses solid professional qualifications, dedication, and continuous efforts to improve teaching quality. Thanks to these efforts, the school collective has excellently completed all assigned tasks, being recognized as meeting National Standards in 2019, and honored as an Advanced Labor Collective of Cam Giang district – Hai Duong province (formerly) for many consecutive years.
Promoting the fine traditions and achieved results, Thach Loi Junior High School continues to set the goal of maintaining the title of National Standard School Level 1, striving to achieve National Standard Level 2; and continuing to innovate and create in teaching and management, contributing to raising the educational quality of Cam Giang commune in particular and Hai Phong City in general during the process of integration and reform.
